Kevin, Cars and Trucks......

I got to meet Kevin through family connections and have been able to watch him grow up through these connections. His mom asked if I would take his senior pictures and I quickly agreed. 

Kevin challenged me to take pictures that included a very special truck and his car. Of course we got to plan car washes and meet up places to make this all happen. I swear to you the light softened during our truck session and this made for perfect images. I have beliefs as to why this happened. The sunset was absolutely perfect for the car session as well. To me these images tell a story and hold deep emotions. 

Kevin also allowed for creative concepts that were fun to create.  These allow Kevin to see himself and see how beautiful life's moments can be. Thank you for a great session!

How often do we get to see ourselves through another person's lens? 

How often do we get to see our glow? 

When do we take the time to see ourselves as we are? 

I was able to be a part of Lydia's educational story as she was one of my students. We formed our relationship quickly because she was already familiar with my work. I got to challenge her and watch her grow to my challenges. I got to be an advocate and a cheerleader for her! I got to see her succeed! 

Lydia asked me to take her senior pictures because she noticed my style and gave me full permission to create art together. I got to show her how I see Lydia. Keep shining that bright light! 

"This is you!" is what I heard myself say many times.
